Michigan will play their first ever night game at The Big House against none other than, Notre Dame. To make the occasion even more special, both teams will wear throwback uniforms made by Adidas. Both teams are sponsored by Adidas so this was easy for the schools to set up.
The jerseys look great and it reminds us of who has played before us. Great players have worn these jerseys and I think its great we pay tribute to them. Brian Kelly said in a press release:
“We are happy to partner with adidas to help commemorate the first night game at Michigan Stadium with new uniforms. It seems fitting that the two schools with the two best winning percentages in college football play in this historic game. I know our players are looking forward to the contest and both teams’ new uniforms will only add to the excitement in the Big House on September 10.”
While some are unhappy we aren’t wearing the regular Blue and Gold, I can only say why not change? There isn’t a better time to bring the green out. It’ll be the first primetime game between these two schools since 1990 and like I already said, the first night game at The Big House. I am excited already for this game and can’t wait, go Irish!
