Unfortunately for us, Ben was a senior so he is now preparing for the NBA draft. We’ll surely miss him. As for his future, where do you think he will end in the draft? ESPN.com has Ben ranked 61st overall. Which would mean he is likely a second round pick. With his talents I can’t see him going in the third round.
I think Ben could be a late first rounder. I say this becuase he is a kid who has a winning attitude. He’s not afraid to take shots and he is a natural leader. Just look at what he did this year. He lead a team from nothing to a powerhouse in one season. Not many senior gaurds can do this. Tory Jackson was the startong guard during Ben’s junior year. Usually a guard of his talents is the leader for at least 2 years.
Ben’s ability to play the game should be enough to get him a second round pick. However, his natural leadership, to me, puts him at a late first round choice.
