Tight End Mike Ragone out for season

Tight end Mike Ragone will undergo surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He will miss the remainder of the season.

Mike had one ctach for 10 yards yards last weekend at Michigan. He is a senior and this  will probably end his football career.

“I’m pretty disappointed for him. He’s been a warrior for us in a sense,” Irish coach Brian Kelly said Tuesday. “He’s battled through a lot of injuries. He loves to play the game. He loves competition, and we’re really going to miss him.” via ESPN

Other injuries-

Linebacker Danny Spond’s hamstring injury will likely force him out of Saturday’s game against Michigan State. Also, Nose guard Sean Cwynar is healing pretty well from the bone he broke in his hand.
