Notre Dame has to do one thing better than what they’ve done the past 3 weeks to become 2-2. What is it? You guessed it, turnovers.
13 turnovers is just unacceptable if you want to think about obtaining a BCS Birth. Top teams will tear Notre Dame apart if they continue this rate up. Its something that must be emphasized each and every day for Brian Kelly at practices. They only had 3 turnovers last week (compared to the 5 turnovers per game the previous two weeks) and that turned things around quite well for Notre Dame. They beat an overrated Michigan State team by over 20 points.
Pittsburgh has a good defense. They can and will capitalize on the mistakes you make, and that can put Notre Dame in a lot of trouble. If they want to avoid a 1-3 start, then the Irish are going to have to protect the ball much better.
What do you think will be the key point of the game? Leave a comment and let us know!
