Notre Dame has stumbled a little bit in the Big East standings this past week with back-to-back losses against UCONN and Rutgers. Notre Dame also lost their 29 home game winning streak as well (against UCONN). Notre Dame’s next time for revenge is Saturday when they host Syracuse.
Here’s the standings in the Big East as of today.

As frustrating as it is to see Notre Dame in “the middle of the pack” and not up top, I must admit they are surpassing my expectations of the year so far. They have competed with most of the Big East teams they have played so far (minus UCONN) and have beaten ranked opponents.
Notre Dame needs victories anyway they can get them. Let’s hope its a much better weekend then it just was for the Irish.
