Davonte' Neal a "no show" at his decision press conference

Today was suppose to be the day we would hear from 5 star wide receiver, Davonte’ Neal, regarding his decision. However, he didn’t show up to his own press conference at a local elementary school.

The rumor is that Neal is caught up in the decision. He is leaning towards Arizona, while his Dad is pulling for Notre Dame. Honestly, if he’s not happy going to ND, then I do want him. I’d rather have players who want to be here and are willing to work hard. But hey, it would be tough to see a talented 5 star recruit, who we desperately need to fill Michael Floyd’s shoes, walk out on us.

Stay tuned to SlapTheSign for the latest details on Notre Dame sports.

Do “not” want him, right. From what I’ve read his dad sounded in love with ND. Hard to believe he’s having a hard time choosing between Arizona and Notre Dame, but I guess four years of better football weather (although, way too hot for my taste) may be preferable to a lifetime of a great university degree and a top-notch football program may be preferable to some. Who knows what and how the kids are thinking.
