USF beats Villanova

Last nuight, teh Villnova Wildcats put up a decent fight, but lost to a much better South Florida team by the score of 56-47. South Florida will take on the Irish at 9pm ET today.

Who/ What should Notre Dame watch out for?

Victor Rudd Jr. had 13 points in last night’s game for USF, and I expect him to put up around the same. They play great defense and that is what has kept them in games they shouldn’t be in. If Notre Dame plays like they did against Georgetown a few weeks ago, this could be a long night for the Irish.

This game is not a must win for the Irish. They can lose tonight and still be locked in for the NCAA Tournament. But like last year’s Champions, UCONN, the momentum from the conference tournament can take you far i the NCAA Tournament.
