#3 Notre Dame hosts #17 Syracuse on Saturday

Notre Dame ((10-1, 5-0) will play host to #17 Syracuse (7-6, 3-2) at 5 pm ET on Saturday at Arlotta Stadium. This heavily tested game is already sold out.

Notre dame will be looking for their 10th straight win after a dramatic 10-7 win over Villanova.

Notre Dame’s defense will be key for them. They rank 1st overall with just allowing 5.67 goals per game. The Irish have to keep the momentum going if the want to come away with the win.

Does this game even mean anything for ND?

In the short run, no it doesn’t. Notre Dame has already clinched the 31 seed in the Big East Tournament, so they don’t need the win. They only need it for a confidence booster heading into the tournament.

Notre Dame would like to get the W so they can get a higher seed in the NCAA Division 1 Tournament. If the Orangemen can find a way to snag the win, then Cuse will be very conf9dent heading into the playoffs.

History favors the Irish in this game. Notre Dame is 38-4 since 2006 at home and I do believe they can be 35-8 after this weekend.

Game-time: 5pm ET on Saturday
