Offensive player to watch- Running back Cierre Wood is a possible Heisman Trophy Winner if all goes right. If Notre Dame wants to be successful this year, it has to come from the running game. Obviously, the Irish can’t rely on the quarterback position to carry the load, because we don’t know who that’s going to be yet. Look for at least 1,500 rushing yards out of Cierre Wood and hopefullyvery few turnovers from him.

Defensive player to watch- Returning for his senior year, how can it not be Manti Te’o? He is the backbone to Notre Dame’s defense and a consist tackler for the Domers. His effort and play could be vital for how the defense handles the very talented offenses Notre Dame will face this year. There is no doubt he could be a first round pick in next year’s NFL Draft.
