Last Meeting: Navy-14   Notre Dame-56

Matt Warrick, LB, Senior-Warrick led the Midshipmen in tackles in 2011 with 103 total. In addition to his 103 total tackles, Warrick 4 tackles for loss. He has stated 14 of the last games at linebacker. He was a fast aggressive Linebacker who can make plays all over the field. With an undersized front, Warrick should be very busy. With Navy Midshipmen Linemen getting overpowered, Warrick will need to clean up on running plays. If he cannot stop the Irish rushing attack, Riddick and Atkinson will run wild.

Tra’ves Bush, S, Senior-The most versatile athlete on the Navy Defense is Senior Safety Tra’ves Bush. As a Junior, Bush recorded 93 tackles. Bush moves all around on Defense and can hurt you in many different ways. Navy needs Bush to be successful in this game to pull out a victory. Similar to Warrick, Bush needs to clean up the backend. In addition, Bush has the athleticism to make the big play. Turnovers could be key with Everett Golson starting his first game. If Bush could force a turnover, Navy can make the game tighter or even push it in their favor.
