High School All-Star Games present a unique opportunity for players who were lauded on their High School teams to show that they are among the Nation’s best.

Under Armour All-American Game

Notre Dame could pick up multiple commitments from prospects playing in the game including Tarean Folston and Max Redfield. Notre Dame also has several commitments playing in the game including Alex Anzalone, Colin McGovern and Hunter Bivin. The Under Armour All-American provides a unique opportunity for fans to see their commitments in practice as well as a game situation. ESPN will air three practices beginning on January 1, 2013. The game is on Friday, January 4th at 5 p.m. on ESPN.

U.S. Army All-American Bowl

Sometimes, people argue the original is the best. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is the original. It has featured players such as Reggie Bush, Mark Sanchez and Adrian Peterson. Who will be the next great player to take the field? Notre Dame has several commitments including Running Back Greg Bryant, Offensive Tackle Steve Elmer, Wide Receiver Torii Hunter Jr., Offensive Guard John Montelus, Outside Linebacker Doug Randolph, Wide Receiver Corey Robinson and Outside Linebacker Jaylon Smith. Notre Dame could also receive a commitment from Outside Linebacker A.Q. Muhammad. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl airs Saturday, January 5th at 1 p.m. on NBC.

Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl

Although this game is new and not widely available to the media, several Irish commitments are participating in this game. These commitments are Cornerback Devin Butler, Wide Receiver Will Fuller, Cornerback Cole Luke, Offensive Tackle Mike McGlinchey and Quarterback Malik Zaire. These games provide an excellent opportunity for incoming Freshman to compete against each other as they prepare for the speed of the college game.
