The Tight End has become one of the most versatile positions in football. 2014 Tight End Jeb Blazevich is one of those Tight Ends. He will make his decision today or tomorrow according to reports on Twitter. Will he select the Irish?

Currently, it does not look like that will be the case. The Irish are probably the 4th behind Clemson, Ole Miss and Georgia. According to his profile page on 247Sports.com, Ole Miss Insider Webb Lewis predict that the 6’5″ 230 lbs Tight End from Charlotte, North Carolina would select the Rebels.

Blazevich most recently visited Notre Dame on March 23rd for their Junior Day. He has also recently visited Alabama, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Clemson.

Despite Notre Dame’s great track record with recruiting and producing Tight Ends, it does not appear that they gained any traction with Blazevich. Notre Dame will now move to other offers such as Nic Weishar from Illinois.

Notre Dame’s trend of aiming high for prospects after a 12-0 regular season has not panned out yet but there are still about 9 months left until National Signing Day 2014.
