Matt Dickerson possesses a great frame to play Defensive End at the college level. He checks in at 6’5″ 275lbs and runs a 4.9 40-yard dash. Dickerson has offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington State. Dickerson has blown up recently picking up big time offers from Oregon, USC and Notre Dame.

His frame reminds me of Stephon Tuitt. He is a long, lean athlete that could add solid weight to his frame. He would need time to develop into that type of player but the potential is clearly there.

Currently, Arizona and UCLA lead for the 3-star Defensive End. However, the recent offers should have a huge impact on his recruiting process. Prior to these offers, he was a Pac 12 or regional prospect but now he is pushing his way onto the national scene.

He does not have visit schedule to Notre Dame at this point. Based on the regionalized interests that Dickerson has, it may be hard to pull him away from California. If any school can do that though, it’s the University of Notre Dame.
