Justin Brent, DeShone Kizer and Elijah Hood all took to the fields Tuesday evening to compete in 7-on-7 competition at Nike’s “The Opening”. Each player took to the field on a different team. Notre Dame fans got to see each Brent live on ESPNU. Here is how they performed:

Justin Brent, WR, 6’1″ 196 (Indianapolis, Indiana)

On the first drive by Vapor Carbon, Brent was targeted twice and caught one pass for a touchdown from ASU Quarterback commitment Manny Wilkims. Brent also made a first down grab where he made a solid run after the catch. Brent made another solid catch late in the 2nd half but failed to convert the first down because he broke the route off. He was targeted several other times. Brent looks physically impressive. Brent does not look like a player who is about to be a High School Senior. Justin Brent’s team Vapor Carbon lost to Team Super Bad in the first game on National Television.

Notre Dame commitments will compete tomorrow on ESPNU at 9:00 p.m.
