Notre Dame Football 2013

Sunday, September 29th, 2013

  • One of the biggest news stories this morning is the firing of Lane Kiffin. Notre Dame will now have to worry about the competent coach that Pat Haden will hire in the near future.
  • ICYMI, Ben Councell was ejected during yesterday’s game for a targeting penalty. He will be suspended for the first half of the Arizona State game. Link provides a pretty good look at the hit.
  • Matt Fortuna says that Notre Dame cannot continue to play this way and expect to be a BCS game.
  • The 1957 team was honored yesterday during halftime. An ageless Terry Brennan was interviews by ABC 57.
  • Notre Dame hosted several recruits for yesterday’s battle with Oklahoma. They were mostly 2015 and 2016 recruits. The lone uncommitted 2014 prospect was Shaq Vann, a local Running Back.
  • A Notre Dame fan created a petition for President Barack Obama to bench Tommy Rees. Here is a link to the petition.
