Notre Dame Football Recruiting: Notre Dame Offers Snoop Dogg's Son

2015 Notre Dame Football Recruiting

Right now, Cordell Broadus is known as Snoop Dogg’s son. Soon, he hopes that he will be better known for his play on the football. Aside from being the son of one of the most well-known rapper’s of this generation, he is also a 4-star recruit in the 2015 class.

Today, Notre Dame put their hat into the ring of his recruitment. The Irish are not the first. Broadus has offers from Arizona State, California, Duke, LSU, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC and Washington. He is ranked as the 64th best recruit and 4 best Wide Receiver in the 2015 class according to 247.

It is really hard to see how Broadus is not a USC Trojan by the fall of 2015. Snoop Dogg is a well-known Trojan supporter. Additionally, it would be hard to see Snoop Dogg at Notre Dame supporting his son. It’s weird, right?

Notre Dame is no stranger to recruiting players who have big time parents. Notre Dame’s roster currently includes Austin Collinsworth (son of former NFL Wide Receiver and current NBC Football broadcaster Cris Collinsworth), Corey Robinson (son of former NBA All-Star David Robinson), Torii Hunter Jr. (son of MLB All-Star Torii Hunter) and Jesse Bongiovi (son of Rock god Jon Bon Jovi).
