Notre Dame faces off against Stanford in the season finale of the 2013 Notre Dame Football season. Last year, the Fighting Irish outlasted the Cardinal on a controversial touchdown call in overtime. Notre Dame is a huge underdog in this year’s game. They will need to be flawless to beat the Cardinals. Stanford is difficult to beat at home. Will the Cardinal be distracted with next week’s conference championship game? Most likely not. The Cardinal want revenge against for last year’s game. Notre Dame does not have enough fire power to beat the Cardinal this year. Tommy Rees will most likely struggle against that Stanford pass rush. Notre Dame needs to run the football to win. But, Stanford only allows 2.97 yards per game. Notre Dame will be in it until 3rd Quarter but will fade from there.
