Notre Dame Football Recruiting: Tristen Hoge Claims Irish as Leader

2015 Notre Dame Football Recruiting

Idaho is not a powerhouse football state. However, Pocatello, Idaho will produce a 4-star Offensive Guard next season in 2015 prospect Tristen Hoge. He currently has Notre Dame as his leader.

Hoge has offers from Boise State, BYU, California, Duke, Florida, LSU, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Penn State, Stanford, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State. He is currently rated as a 4-star prospect by all recruiting services (Scout, 247, ESPN, Rivals).

The Fighting Irish are off to an excellent start in their 2015 football recruiting class. They have already landed commitments from Offensive Tackle Jerry Tillery and stand out Quarterback Blake Barnett.

Over the past few years, Notre Dame has landed excellent linemen prospects. They landed 5 in the 2013 class and look to add 4 in the 2014 class. The Irish could take as many as 4 Linemen again in the 2015 class. However, because of great recruiting in the past classes, they can be selective with who they recruit and accept commitments from.

Hoge is definitely one of those players they should take if given the opportunity. He is likely the best Offensive Guard in the 2015 class. A commitment could come the next time he steps foot on campus.
