Notre Dame Football Recruiting: Recruiting Predictions

Notre Dame Football Recruiting

Isaiah McKenzie: McKenzie needs to score an 850 to qualify for Notre Dame. He is awaiting his score. If he does not, he still has the opportunity to take the test. McKenzie has shown an extreme interest in Notre Dame for some time. With desire and any hope, he’ll qualify.

Prediction: Notre Dame

Charles Nelson: Nelson’s recruitment probably depends on McKenzie’s. If McKenzie fails to qualify, Nelson and Notre Dame can probably join up. He likes USC but like Notre Dame USC may not have room. West Virginia is probably his final spot if they do not work out.

Prediction: West Virginia

Michiah Quick: Notre Dame is probably in Quick’s final two along with Oklahoma. With their Sugar Bowl victory, they have a lot of momentum. Quick probably would have selected the Sooners prior to the win over Alabama. The victory makes it a slam-dunk.

Prediction: Oklahoma

Dalton Schultz: Stanford is in the drivers seat with Dalton Shultz for a long time. The official visit to Notre Dame may have changed things slightly but Notre Dame will likely not accept his commitment unless Luatua de-commits from the class or if Troy Niklas declares for the NFL Draft.

Prediction: Stanford

Braden Smith: Smith will visit Notre Dame on January 17th. However, his interest in Notre Dame is probably light. A great visit could change his mind but he will likely choose TCU.

Prediction: TCU

Nyles Morgan: Morgan will make his announcement known tomorrow at the US Army All-American Bowl. All signs point to Morgan selecting the Irish. However, if he does not, it will likely be Vanderbilt.

Prediction: Notre Dame

JuJu Smith: Notre Dame may be second or third on Smith’s list. Notre Dame seems like a good fit for Smith. But, sometimes distance is a huge factor in a decision.

Prediction: USC
