  • Connor Killoren of the Bleacher Reports is predicting that Notre Dame will land Alexander, Cage and McKenzie (well that one is not happening) on National Signing Day.
  • Keith Arnold, also of the Bleacher Report, wrote an interesting article ranking the best recruiting classes in the BCS era. Arnold had Brady Quinn’s 2003 class as the best. The class of 2011 and 2013 may be the best when they have finally finished their four years at Notre Dame.
  • South Bend Tribune writer discusses how Notre Dame’s offense will get a meaningful makeover under new offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock.
  • In a completely un-athletic related story, Notre Dame officials including President Father John Jenkins meet Pope Francis at the Vatican this week.
  • Earlier this week, Notre Dame football lost important recruiting staffer J.R. Sandlin to Jacksonville State where he will coach Tight Ends. Sandlin is probably best known for his pot of gold mailing strategy.
