Will Notre Dame receive a commitment from Providence Catholic Wide Receiver Miles Boykin on Wednesday? Experts are predicting that Boykin will select Notre Dame over Michigan State on Wednesday.
The New Lenox, Illinois Wide Receiver prospect checks in at 6’4″ 220 lbs. If Boykin landed at Notre Dame, he would assume the role that current Notre Dame Sophomore Wide Receiver Corey Robinson holds. However, Boykin claims a 4.41 40-yard dash. So, he would be much faster than Robinson.
There is a possibility that Boykin could grow into a Tight End in the future. Boykin would only need to add about 20 lbs. But, that would undoubtedly slow him down slightly from his 4.41 40-yard dash.
Boykin holds offers from 18 schools including Arizona State, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Oregon and Virginia Tech. 247Sports considers Boykin a 4-star recruit. However, he is not ranked nationally. Boykin is considered as the 34th Wide Receiver prospect in the nation.
Boykin has unofficially visited Michigan State, Florida, Notre Dame, Missouri, Indiana and Michigan during June. Therefore, realistically, any of these teams could be selected by Boykin. However, Notre Dame has been favored for some time. It is likely that Boykin will select Notre Dame on Wednesday.
