Notre Dame’s $90 million deal in cash and merchandise began on July 1st with a party at the Varsity Shop inside the Purcell Pavilion. However, fans do not know what the Irish uniforms will look like in 2014.
Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank said, ““We’re not anticipating doing anything unusual, crazy. We need to honor and respect the history of the university.” Based on the comments from an anonymous internet user, a more vivid picture of the home uniforms and Shamrock Series uniforms is now appearing. This is with the caveat that this commenter is to be taken at his word.

The home jersey sounds almost exactly the same as the Adidas version. The only difference is, of course, the Under Armour logo and the base layer. A few pictures of equipment have emerged on player’s Twitter accounts. Here is a picture of a pair of cleats on Nicky Baratti’s account.
The most exciting part of the comments is the description of the Shamrock Series uniforms. Instead of an all white look like last year, the Irish will be wearing an all blue uniform with gold accents. As with all of the Shamrock Series uniforms, the traditionalists will not like them and the younger fans will.
