Notre Dame Reveals Shamrock Series Uniforms For 2014

Earlier in the morning, Notre Dame and Under Armour unveiled the home and away uniforms for the 2014. Fans who were worried about Under Armour’s high tech fancy designs should be calmed by the classic look.

At 1 p.m., the University and Under Armour revealed Notre Dame’s annual Shamrock Series Uniform. Here is the uniform that the Fighting Irish will wear against Purdue on September 13th:

The Irish featured a unique uniform each year. Here is Notre Dame’s uniform during their 2012 matchup against Miami:

The Fighting Irish have never lost a Shamrock Series matchup. The Shamrock Series began in 2009 when Notre Dame defeated Washington State 40-14. The Irish followed that up with a victory against Army in Yankee Stadium, 27-3. In 2011, Notre Dame traveled to FedEx field and beat Maryland, 45-21. During Notre Dame’s undefeated run, the Irish pounced on Miami (FL), 41-3. Last year, Notre Dame sneaked out a 37-34 victory against Arizona State.
