Notre Dame Football Recruiting: Irish Look To Land Commitments In September

The Irish host Rice this weekend at 3:30 p.m. A significant amount prospects will not make it to this game. A few commits will journey to Notre Dame this weekend. The commits include Miles Boykin and Brandon Tiassum.

However, the Irish host several important prospects during the month of September. Most of these prospects will arrive the week of the Michigan game. Here is where Notre Dame stands with the important uncommitted visitors:

Soso Jamabo – Running Back

Jamabo heads up to Notre Dame for a second time this year. The Plano, Texas Running Back trimmed his list of schools to UCLA, Baylor and Notre Dame. The Irish likely lead for the 4-star Running Back. Brian Kelly and his Coaching Staff need an excellent visit to land a verbal commitment. Rushing for 200-yards against Rice and Michigan would not hurt their case with Jamabo.

Porter Gustin – Defensive Linemen

Gustin claimed he would visit South Bend in early September for Notre Dame’s matchup with the Michigan Wolverines. Gustin has not finalized these plans yet. Notre Dame needs an excellent visit with Gustin to fight their way into the mix.

Bo Wallace – Outside Linebacker

The Outside Linebacker/Defensive End from New Orleans, Louisiana visited Notre Dame on June 4th. He plans a return trip to South Bend on September 6th. If the Irish fail to land a traditional Defensive Linemen, Notre Dame could possibly use Bo Wallace at that position.
