Notre Dame Football Recruiting Predictions (Dexter Williams & Others)

National Signing Day is only 15 days away. Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame coaching staff are zeroing in on the last round of uncommitted prospects. Here are predictions on where the final recruits will land:

Dexter Williams
4-star Running Back Dexter Williams committed to Miami (Fla.) on April 12th of last year. Despite his commitment to the Hurricanes, Williams visited several schools, officially and unofficially. In early January, he disavowed his pledge to Miami (Fla.) and reopened his recruitment.Williams visited Notre Dame on the weekend of January 16-18. Notre Dame is currently listed as the favorite.

Ke’Shawn Vaughn
3-star Running Back Ke’Shawn Vaughn recently appeared on Notre Dame’s target list. Vaughn hails from Nashville, TN and plays for Pearl Cohn High School. He holds offers from Notre Dame, Louisville, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Arkansas State, Austin Peay, California, Duke, East Carolina, Illinois, Kentucky, Marshall, Memphis, Mercer, North Carolina, Ohio State, Tennessee and Wisconsin. Experts currently list the Purdue Boilermakers as the favorite to land Vaughn. However, Vaughn visited Purdue in October. West Virginia gets the last word in this recruitment with a January 30th visit.

Jordan Cronkrite
Cronkrite hails from Miami, Florida and plays for Westminster Christian School. He played four years on the team’s varsity football team. In 2014, Cronkrite carried 167 attempts for 1172 yards and 10 touchdowns. In his career at Westminster Christian School, he rushed for 4573 yards on 574 attempts with 46 touchdowns. Cronkrite also caught 44 passes for 706 yards with 8 touchdowns. Although Notre Dame was once a favorite for Cronkrite, Florida is trending
