This much I do know–you won’t see any Notre Dame players guaranteeing victory. That’s not their style, but after this last game, any comments like that will be kept in-house I’d hope anyhow. But when this tournament started, many felt that the Irish were–if there is such a thing–the best threat to beat the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats.

So can coach Mike Brey and his determined, but very undersized team pull off an upset for the ages? It’s likely going to take a perfectly executed game plan, but with Brey–it’s something he’s shown he can do. Most recently allowing Jahlil Okafor to torch them inside while shutting down the outside game of Duke in the ACC semifinal. And prior to that, although no one likes to talk about it anymore, the “burn” offense.

So what will it take?
