Notre Dame vs Stanford: How To Watch

Notre Dame will try to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive on Saturday with a win against Stanford in Palo Alto

To stay in contention for the College Football Playoffs, Notre Dame will have to first prove themselves against Stanford. A loss, and you are no longer in the running, a win and you are in the final talks for the playoffs, but with out a conference championship, Notre Dame could still fail to get a spot in the final four. This means the Irish have to make this a statement win and leave all questions answered about who this team really is.

As of right now, Notre Dame is out of the Top 4. The Irish are currently ranked 6th in the College Football Playoff Top 25. They still behind Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, Iowa and Michigan State. The Irish are trailed by Baylor, Ohio State, Stanford and Michigan.

One of those unanswered questions is about depth. Notre Dame has proven there depth so far this season after battling through so many injuries, but now that you add KeiVarae Russell and more than likely C.J. Prosise to that list. The Irish have to make the committee believe that they can still compete at the playoff level even with out these guys.
