Don’t get settled into that offseason just yet, there are a few things you absolutely need to know about the upcoming Notre Dame football season.

I know what you’re thinking. We have three and a half months until the season starts, and perhaps taking a few weeks off to help ease the pain of the offseason torture would be a nice gesture.

Sorry. That ain’t happening and you know you don’t really want it to anyways. There is so much to discuss and dissect and fight about. Everyone is so wrapped up in this quarterback battle, it’s hard to get passed the crap and see a clearer view of the season.

We are trying hard here at Slap The Sign to do a little of that, such as our 16 Predictions For 2016 series. We may have some other things baking in the oven too, but enough of all that.

Fans need as much information available before the season- whether that be for the verbal battle you are preparing for that USC fan at the office, or that buddy of yours that went to Michigan State that keeps trashing Notre Dame by bringing up Charlie Weis instead of Mark Dantonio’s losses to Brian Kelly, or just to stay sharp for whatever reason comes up.
