The Shamrock Series has been allowed Notre Dame football to play in some of the most unique venues in America.

Since the inception of the Shamrock Series in 2009, Notre Dame football has had the opportunity to play in some pretty cool venues. Not too many other programs can say that they have played in places such as Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park. The have played all over the country. They’ve played in cities such as San Antonio, Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis and Boston. The game will be played again in San Antonio this upcoming season against Army. With them recycling a previous site it t seems that the Irish have almost run out of places to play. Notre Dame will be taking a year off from the Shamrock Series in 2017, but the game is rumored to return in 2018. The location hasn’t been named and we can speculate, but thats a conversation for another time.

Throughout the eight years of the series they’ve played in some pretty cool venues. Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park come to the top of the mind, and then you got NFL venues such as Soldier Field and Lucas Oil Stadium. Here I’ll give you the top five coolest Shamrock Series venues.
