Over the weekend Notre Dame football added to it’s 2018 class with the commitments of Justin and Jayson Ademilola.

The Irish added a pair of twins to it’s 2018 recruiting class over the weekend with the commitments of Justin and Jayson Ademilola. Justin and Jayson come from St.Peter’s Prep High School in New Jersey, which is also the same school that produced sophomore quarterback Brandon Wimbush. The twins committed to Notre Dame shortly after visiting campus just last week. What are the Irish getting with the Ademilola twins? Two very good defenders, thats what.

According to 247Sports.com Justin a four-star outside linebacker. He’s only entering his junior year of high school and he already stands are 6’3″ 225 lbs. He already has the size to play division one football. The Irish missed on some big time linebacking prospects this past recruiting cycle, so it’s good to see them hitting on this one. Justin had offers from Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, and Michigan State among others.

His brother is Jayson is a also a four-star prospect, but is a defensive tackle. He has the size at 6’3″ to be a tackle, but if he wants to stick there when he gets to Notre Dame he’ll have to put on a few more pounds. Right now he’s “only” 283 lbs, but he’s going into his junior season so he’ll have time to bulk up.

One of the best things about each player is their versatility. Justin is an outside linebacker but could also line up at defensive end if you needed him to. Same goes for Jayson. He’s a defensive tackle primarily, but could also play outside if needed.

The twins expressed on Twitter that they had been to numerous schools, but Notre Dame felt like home the most to them. 247Sports.com pegged the Ademilola twins to go to Michigan, so stealing a few recruits from Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines always feels nice.

If the twins follow through on their commit and end up at Notre Dame they will become the first set of twins to play for Notre Dame since Bailey and Austen Ross. The Ross twins are two senior walk on running backs who are currently on the roster.

Next: Irish Enjoy a Huge Recruiting Weekend

Justin and Jayson are the third and fourth commitments of the 2018 class, joining five-star quarterback Phil Jurkovec and four-star running back Markese Stepp.
