In the backcourt, Matt Farrell and V.J. Beachem will do their best to slow down Josh Hart and Kris Jenkins. With the abundance of guards they have on the roster, the Irish should be able to slow the Wildcats backcourt at least.

There’s more on the line in this one than an undefeated record. Villanova will likely slide down the rankings with a loss, while Notre Dame would drop right out of the top 25 without a win. On the other hand, a win by the Fighting Irish would move them up, possibly into the top 15. The Wildcats would remain #1 with a victory.

It’s hard to say who will win this one. When it boils down to it, Notre Dame has Bonzie Colson, and that will be a huge key to success. If the guards are able to throw Villanova’s backcourt off their game, Notre Dame should come up with the victory.
