Notre Dame basketball takes on Florida State looking to take down the ACC’s top team. Here’s how to watch online.

Florida State may have gotten the best of Notre Dame in their first meeting this season, but don’t expect the Irish to fall again. Discovering a small man game is the way to go, the Irish have become more dangerous than they’ve ever been.

They may still find problems in the paint, but with Bonzie Colson taking on Jonathan Isaac, the Irish may find a way to stop the Seminoles’ big man. If V.J. Beachem and Matt Farrell can continue their dominance, Notre Dame should be the favorite in this matchup.

It’s not going to be easy by no means. The Irish are only one game out of a four-game losing streak where they proved they struggle against top teams. They aren’t the unit they were when they started the season 9-0 or their ACC schedule 5-0. Now, Notre Dame is slowing down, but at the same time they’re finding how they can win.

If they stick with a small man set, they’ll be able to play their style of game. For a team without a true superstar, that’s something they need to control in order to win big games. They have talent and the ability to beat anyone. But without playing through their backcourt, they aren’t as strong as they need to be.

If they can pull off a successful shooting game and have Colson slow down Isaac, they should take down the top team in the ACC. They need to play through their guards. With them, they’ll find momentum enough to shut down FSU. Once they get hot, this team is one of the most competitive in the country. When it’s all said and done, Notre Dame should do enough to pull off this win.
