Notre Dame Baseball: Irish vs Florida State Live Stream

Notre Dame baseball was supposed to play Florida State in the opening round of the 2017 ACC Tournament at 11:00 am, but due to weather conditions, the game has been pushed back to 1:00 pm.

Notre Dame enters the ACC tournament as a No. 12 seed, but despite the poor season, they’re hoping to take on some of the best college baseball has to offer. Despite losing their two regular season games against the Seminoles, Notre Dame has high hopes for their first-round matchup.

FSU comes into this game as the No. 8 seed, meaning them and Notre Dame should be somewhat evenly matched. As they both look to shock the conference make a tournament run, they start off playing eachother in a buy in round.

The Fighting Irish didn’t have the greatest season, finishing 26-30 and 10-20 in the ACC. However, none of that counts once they touch the field in the tournament. Whether they’re playing the top team in the ACC or the bottom, the Fighting Irish have the same mindset; win.

It’s going to be a challenge. Notre Dame has struggled all season to find momentum. But if they can start off with an impressive win over the Seminoles, they’ll have a lot to carry into the next round of the tournament.

The weather delay may hurt both teams, but the Irish have struggled to score all season, which means they could gain some advantage from poor field conditions. Either way, they’re looking to out hustle Florida State and earn their spot in the next round.
