For football only, San Diego State is rumored to be apart of the Big East Western division. Other potential members are Boise State, Houston, Louisville, Southern Methodist and possibly Air Force. The winner of this division would play the winner of the east division (UConn, Rutgers, Cincinnati, South Florida and possible new members Central Florida and Navy) in a championship game.

This is not a definite move, but it is sure grabbing people’s attention. I wouldn’t mind seeing it happen. This can save the Big East from collapsing and keep it alive for other sports. Let me know what you think of this conference structure!
