]]> Shannon Boxx can breathe a sigh a relief. She is back on the starting eleven for the United States game today against Sweedon. Boxx was a Notre Dame star and she is performing well on the national stage.

Boxx is 34 years old. She has been a presence for the USA for awhile and was a little sluggish and banged up after the first match of the women’s World Cup. The US have clinched to the next round and are looking to at least tie Sweedon and avoid Germany (favorite to win) in the first round.
