Christian French the No.1-rated player in Iowa just announced his decision to play his football at Oregon next season. French was choosing between Iowa, Oregon, and Notre Dame.

The four-star recruit is six-feet six-inches tall and weighs 229 pounds. French, who runs a 4.4 40-yard dash, is ranked 13th nationally as an ‘athlete’.

Most teams project French in the secondary, but Notre Dame planned to play French at wide receiver. French is very raw, but extremely athletic. He will need to improve his tackling to have success defensively at the next level, or his hands to have success as a wide receiver.
