]]> Dear Readers,

First off, I’d like to thank you for your support and loyalty as we continue to grow as a website. My Staff and I have put a lot of effort to bring you the best news, analysis, and opinions on all things Notre Dame and NCAA sports.

Like all workers, we need a break. I am no expection to this. As of Saturday, May 26th, I will be taking a one week vacation at the beach. My staff writers will be posting as much as they can and breaking any important stories as they happen.

I expect to be back writing on Sunday June 3rd and I hope that you stay logged onto Slap the Sign.

]]> Hey guys, my name is Connor McCann, I am 15 years old and I am a new writer on staff here at SlapTheSign. I know this isn’t a formal article but I figured I would introduce myself to the great fans of this great site. This is my second time writing for a professional news website, the first being at NewJerseyNewsroom.com, which I still contribute to on a part-time basis. I love Notre Dame Athletics through and through and I also host my own internet radio show on Notre Dame Athletics. I will be putting up the link shortly so check it out and give it a try.
I think that I can contribute insightful knowledge about Notre Dame Athletics to this site and help it grow. Mr. Daniel Battle is committed this site great and I feel like I can help it get to the next level. I look to contribute my opinion on Notre Dame Sports through my articles and also would like to welcome all comments to my articles. I am looking forward to doing a column or writing specific articles for SlapTheSign and would love to hear feedback. If there is one thing people should know about me, it is that I have opinions and love to share them. That is why I started my show and love writing and contributing to sites like this one. I also am a member of the Football Writers Association of America, where I vote on the college football All-America teams, Nagurski Award, Outland Trophy, Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award, and the Grantland Rice Trophy.
