]]> One of the top backs in the country, has committed to the Notre Dame! Elijah Shumate from Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey is going to be big-time player down the road.

He is an amazing corner. The first things that comes out to me when I see him play is his wingspan. It is similar to that of Antonio Cromartie (corner-back of the New York Jets). He can use his hands very well and can defend very well. I expect him to have a great impact for our secondary,

]]> Good news to all Notre Dame fans, junior tight end Tyler Eifert will return for his senior season! He was deciding between going to the NFL draft or staying one more year. I believe he made the right decision.

Tyler was informed he was an ideal 3 rd round pick for this years draft. Michael Floyd, our senior wide receiver, was in the same situation last year and he made the same decision. This is terrific news for the Irish!
