#7 Notre Dame will play #10 Xavier in first round of March Madness

Notre Dame will face Xavier in the first round of the NCAA Division 1 men’s basketball tournament. The Irish will play the Musketeers in Greensboro, North Carolina on Friday (no time official yet).
The winner of this game will play the winner of the Duke/Lehigh game. Duke is a #2 seed and Lehigh is #15 seed in the south region.
Xavier is an at large bid. They lost to St. Bonaventure, 67-56 in the Atlantic 10 championship. From the first glance of things, I’d say Notre Dame has a chance to win this game. We will break down Xavier throughout the week so stay tuned for our previews here at SlapTheSign.
