Watt has played in 38 games straight games for the Fighting Irish. He has made 25 starts during that time. Experienced Linemen are invaluable to a football team for multiple reasons. The knowledge that these players collect over their years of playing experience helps tremendously. Of course, experience helps at any position. But, it is magnified at the Linemen position. The gains that Watt has made over his four years at Notre Dame cannot be matched by an underclassmen. Watt is probably right behind Zack Martin, as a guarantee to return to Notre Dame in 2013.
