Cierre Wood’s Mother has told reporters several times that her son is likely to leave Notre Dame for the NFL. Wood is currently waiting on his paperwork to make a decision. It is hard to say what information would cause Wood to stay at Notre Dame. It could be a 2nd day grade (4th-7th round) or an undrafted grade (although that seems unlikely). The decision is completely up to Cierre Wood. He has rushed for 2,445 yards in his Notre Dame career. He would undoubtedly be welcomed back if he wants to come back for a fifth-year. But, with a daughter out in Las Vegas, does he want to stay in South Bend another year?
