Ranking the Current Commitments: Folston and Redfield Added, Anzalone Subtracted
By Andrew Hall
No. 10–Tarean Folston, Cocoa, Cocoa, Florida
Folston may be the most athletic player in Notre Dame’s 2013 class. In the Under Armour All-American Game, he intercepted a pass while playing Cornerback. No big deal, right? Folston does not typically play Cornerback. He is a Running Back and is expected to play there in college. Folston shows incredible burst and will be the “lighting” to Greg Bryant’s “thunder”.
No. 9–Hunter Bivin, Apollo, Owensboro, Kentucky
Bivin is an Under Armour All-American Game Participant. Rivals.com ranks Bivin as the 171st recruit nationally. At 6’7” 288 lbs, Bivin is a huge force. Since he does not have play immediately, Notre Dame Strength Coach Paul Longo will be able to remake his body and prepare him to play in 2014 or 2015.
No. 8–Issac Rochell, Eagle’s Landing Christian, McDonough, Georgia
In years before, Notre Dame would need Issac Rochell to come in and immediately play along the Defensive Line. Rochell is one of top Defensive End recruits in the country. At 6’5” 260 lbs, Rochell fits with the Ends that Notre Dame has been recruiting. He is tall and big. He will be able to fill in for Stephon Tuitt.
