Who is telling the truth? The Lennay Kekua Hoax.

On September 11th 2012 Manti Te’o lost his grandmother and six hours later Lennay Kekua also passed away. This brought such inspiration to everyone who kept hearing the story and the way Te’o performed the game after their deaths.
On December 26th 2012 Manti received a phone call from the same number that belonged to Lennay Kekua and the voice sounded like her, but in fact it wasn’t her. An imposter? Yes someone pretended to be Lennay Kekua, but there is no such woman. Only social media accounts are associated with Lennay Kekua.
Manti and his parents contacted the Notre Dame coaching staff, which went to the AD Jack Swarbrick who hired an investigation team to see what was going on. They found out that people were communicating back and forth online displaying happiness and humor; because of the hoax they had/were pulling.
Where the story gets confusing is how long they have “been together” and if they had ever met in person before. Was it an online relationship? A Long distance relationship? Deadspin.com said that Manti and Lennay met after the Stanford game in 2009 in Palo Alto, which was said to be reported by the South Bend Tribune. The Te’o family says they have met her when Manti would come home to Hawaii. According to this they did meet, but it is not for sure. What can people believe? Not a thing, because we still have to hear what Manti has to say and I’m sure more information will be oozing out over the next couple of days.
Ronaiah Tuiasosopo was supposedly the classmate of the actual girl in the picture of Lennay Kekua on social media accounts according to deadspin.com. When the actual girl in the pictures of Lennay Kekua confronted Tuiasosopo he supposedly freaked out and took some of the pictures down off twitter. There are so many dots that need to be connected and I’m sure they will be within the next week or so. Deadspin.com also reported that Ronaiah and Te’o are good friends. There is going to be a lot of explaining to do and some dots to connect. Te’o is supposed to meet with the media within the next couple of days.
