Keisean Lucier-South set an official visit to Notre Dame on October 4th for the Stanford game.

The Lutheran High School product checks in at 6’5″ 225 lbs. He is a different type of player than any on Notre Dame’s roster. He has the ability to rush the passer and make explosive plays. This is different from Stephon Tuitt, who could rush the passer but was more of a bull  rush type of player.

Lucier-South is considered one of the best Defensive Ends in the nation. 247Sports considers him as the 2nd best Weakside Defensive End and 30th best overall recruit. Rivals ranks him in a similar manner. They rank him as the 2nd best Weakside Defensive End and 35th best overall recruit.

Notre Dame desperately needs an elite Defensive End in this class. Lucier-South will likely choose between the Irish, Wolverines and Bruins.. The Irish are probably second or third.
