2. Iman Marshall – Cornerback – Long Beach, California (Poly)

Marshall is the top Cornerback in the 2015 class. Not only is he one of the top Cornerback, he is one of the best players in the nation.
247Sports considers him the top Cornerback and 6th best player in the country. Rivals also considers him as the top player.
At 6’1″ 195 lbs., he possesses ideal size for a Cornerback. A Cornerback with that size would be extremely valuable in new Notre Dame Defensive Coordinator Brian VanGorder’s scheme. To be more aggressive, Notre Dame will need players like Marshall who can play man-to-man against anyone in the country.
Marshall has said that he will take an official visit to Notre Dame. However, no date has been set yet.
Notre Dame does not have a great history with Long Beach Polytechnic High School. Last year, Notre Dame failed to land Long Beach Poly Safety/Wide Receiver Juju Smith. It is likely that “Biggie” Marshall will select Southern Cal.
