Notre Dame already landed a commitment from Pennsylvania Running Back Josh Adams. However, Notre Dame is still pursuing several Running Backs including Plano West Running Back Soso Jamabo.
Playing in one of the toughest areas in high school football, Jamabo rushed for 2774 yards on 345 times with 34 touchdowns in two years of football. Additionally, he caught 35 balls for 678 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Jamabo would fit perfectly into Notre Dame’s system, which is similar to the scheme he plays with in high school. He can run out of the shotgun formation and he is adept at catching the football.
To land his signature, Notre Dame will need to battle UCLA and Baylor. The Fighting Irish are likely in the lead for the 4-star Running Back. Jamabo has an official visit set up for the September 6th when Notre Dame battles Michigan under the lights in Notre Dame Stadium. They could receive a commitment from Jamabo that weekend.
