Notre Dame already landed a commitment from Pennsylvania Running Back Josh Adams. However, Notre Dame is still pursuing several Running Backs including Plano West Running Back Soso Jamabo.

Playing in one of the toughest areas in high school football, Jamabo rushed for 2774 yards on 345 times with 34 touchdowns in two years of football. Additionally, he caught 35 balls for 678 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jamabo recently rushed 469 yards and 6 touchdowns in one game.

Jamabo would fit perfectly into Notre Dame’s system, which is similar to the scheme he plays with in high school. He can run out of the shotgun formation and he is adept at catching the football.

Jamabo visited Notre Dame during the matchup between the Irish and Wolverines. Although Notre Dame did not come away with a commitment, they are solidly in the lead for the 4-star Running Back. Jamabo may visit UCLA one more time before making a decision.
