Jake Hausmann, Tight End, Cincinnati, Ohio
Rivals Ranking: 33rd
Notre Dame picked up Quarterback Andrew Hendrix in 2010 from Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. The career of Hendrix did not work out. However, Notre Dame is hoping that things work out with current Moeller Junior Tight End Jake Hausmann.
Hausmann ranks as the top Tight End in the nation. He checks in at 6’4″ 228 lbs.
Hausmann holds offers from 16 FBS schools including Florida State, Ohio State and Michigan. With any Ohio prospect, Notre Dame needs to outwork and out-recruit Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Hausmann’s enrollment at a Catholic high school improves Notre Dame’s odds of landing the nation’s top Tight End. The recent success of Notre Dame Tight Ends in the NFL Draft also helps the Irish Coaching Staff quite a lot.
