Malik Henry, Quarterback, Westlake Village, California
Rivals Ranking: 9th
Henry ranks consistently as 5-star prospect. He visited South Bend for the “Irish Invasion” and the 31-0 shutout of Michigan. Experts believe Notre Dame leads for the Westlake Quarterback. Florida State, Ohio State and UCLA also appear in the Top 4.
The Irish are still pursuing Quarterbacks for the 2015 class. However, it is likely that Notre Dame will not land a prospect during the 2015 recruiting cycle. Notre Dame looks appealing to 2016 prospects.
Henry wants to make an earlier decision. Florida State and UCLA hold commitments from top 2015 Quarterbacks. It is unlikely that Henry follows a Quarterback like Josh Rosen at UCLA. Between Ohio State and Notre Dame, Henry has shown more interest in the Irish. Therefore, a commitment could come soon from the Westlake Village product.
