Kelly’s legacy is still unwritten. But, the first four years have been quite successful. Notre Dame played for the National Title for the first time since the early 1990s. After starting off 4-5, Kelly has lead Notre Dame to a 37-10 record or .787 winning percentage. This year’s team has an opportunity to play their way into the National Championship conversation. With an upgraded talent level, the Irish will have an opportunity to be successful for the remainder of Kelly’s tenure at Notre Dame. Perhaps what Brian Kelly is doing is more impressive than some of his predecessors. The age of Twitter and difficult standard, Kelly has kept Notre Dame competitive with Alabama, Ohio State and others.
